Things
You Should Know
- How
our office works with actors & their
representatives
Please read this section carefully, as it
provides specific requirements for mailing your
materials to us for consideration, and general
information that may be helpful. Please see our
questions & answers section for detailed
answers to common questions, and our reasoning
for some of the requirements below.
 |
Actors
or their representatives may send Headshots,
resumes & supporting materials for
consideration via regular
US Mail only. We do not
accept materials sent postage due, express,
special delivery, overnight, or by any means
other than regular, pre-paid US Postal Service
unless specifically requested to do otherwise
by our staff. Alternately, you may register
with
The Talent Book
- a national talent search database. No "drop-ins" or
visitors are accepted at any time. Any
unsolicited visitors shall be turned away.
Please see our News pages for the latest
"open call" Dates & Times. These
dates will be the only times available to drop
off your information in person. |
 |
Headshots & Resumes
You
may send us headshots, resumes, audio
recordings, video and other supporting materials
for consideration. Alternately, you may register
with
The Talent Book
- a national talent search database which
distributes all your data to us via the
internet. Do not send us your last, or
only copies of headshots, photographs, audio
recordings, video or any other materials you may
want back. We can not return anything you send
to us, even if you provide postage.
All
materials sent to us become the property of
Peter Bezemes Casting and will not be returned.
As an actor or talent, you are responsible to
provide photographs, or other information, in
support of your career, at your expense.

 |
Do
we charge actors a fee for our services?
|
No. We accept no fee for placing actors
(union or non union) in roles or audition
situations that may lead to your being cast. All
fees are paid directly by producers, studios
& client companies engaging our casting
services. At no time is an actor requested, or
required to pay a fee for consideration.
 |
Union
Talent
|
We fully support your union in assisting you
to uphold the highest professional standards and
practices. Peter Bezemes Casting does not allow
any member of The Screen Actors Guild, or The
American Federation of Television & Radio
Artists, or Actors Equity to work on projects which are not
covered by your unions contract. We support
"Rule One" which prohibits any
AFTRA/SAG member from working for a producer
that is not a signatory to the applicable Union
Contract.
 |
Non
Union Talent
|
Professional practices are encouraged and
expected from non union performers, and the
client companies that would engage the non union
performer. Professional treatment is expected of
both signatory and non signatory companies. A
serious work ethic is expected of the non union
performer, or extra.
